This hotel is very clean, the staff is attentive, and it is conveniently located near the airport.

Couldn't beet the room for the price and location. Great surrounding restaurants and bars. Movie theater is right across the street

Everything extra I asked for from the front desk "towels, toilet paper, extra sheets,ect" I had to go to the front desk and get myself instead of someone bringing it to me.

4th time I've stayed here and have been happy every time!

The rooms are spacious with a comfortable king size bed and the staff is attentive, plus there are amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, tea making equipment, and fridge.

We were in Tampa for 1 day, had very good stay, the hotel was exceptionally clean with favourable and ideal location in a business park. Location: the venue was just next door to airport and shopping and the flight path and restaurants.

Checking in was easy and quick and the woman at the desk was nice. The room was large.

The air conditioning worked but was really loud and so was the noise from the street. Sleeping was difficult.

The room here was well organized with a comfortable king-size bed, a separate bedroom, and a fold-out couch, and the staff was extremely friendly, offering wake-up calls and ironing services.

Very basic hotel for the expensive price. This is the sort you can get on hotwire for about $80, but we paid $140 per night and still got the same basic room as with hotwire. Some people there paid up to $200 per nt. Seemed to be a whole bunch of section 8 housing people there! Dont know how it gets 8.4

A double room we stayed at was brand-new with the king size bed.

I had a really good stay at this hotel for the price. The hotel was exceptionally clean, located in a peaceful and safe area, and the room had a microwave and fridge. Additionally, it was close to Tampa, the airport, and the cruise port. The staff were very friendly.

Very standard stuff. Nothing special about this place...

Rate was lower by walking in ( prior to me telling them I had a reservation through you! ) and booking directly...They would not honor that rate, which was 5 dollars lower. Clerk told me it was only five dollars....Hot water was not at the first room they offered...clerk told me to wait for maintenance. I told her I ran the water at the hottest setting and she proceeded to tell me to let it run for five minutes...I Told her no and for her to come to the room and see for herself. After her inspection visit she confirmed that indeed a 55 year old man was correct and there was no hot water....Placed into a different room, which did have hot water...

I couldn't wait to get home finally to write this email. I checked in on 1/15/16 and checked out on 1/17/15. I booked two rooms at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tampa-Anderson Road-Veterans Exp. I will never stay there again. I spoke to my brother before booking at Holiday Inn Express and he told me you can't go wrong with them. At this location this was not true. Not a nice experience at all. Both rooms had a terrible smell(219-221). In the bathroom of 221 there was a sewer smell that I couldn't get over. The towels smelled like metal in both rooms as well as the sheets and pillows. 221 looked as if someone had kicked in the door at one point because the door didn't sit flush, there was a metal plate with a screw in it and the door stopper was smashed in and recently fixed. The shower head in both rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. There was a bug on the wall in 221. When we first arrived I noticed two ceiling tiles missing in the hallway near the elevator with a wet floor sign underneath it. This stayed like this the whole visit. The attendant was watching the basketball game in the lounge area when I passed by to get the wifi code. I didn't say a word due to the fact I was traveling with my wife, which I stayed with in 221 and her mom, dad and little brother which stayed in 219. This was the first time we all traveled together and didn't want to make any kind of scene or point out these issues to them and ruin their trip. Didn't say anything to them but there is no way didn't notice. Something needs to be done about this. Not a good way to treat a customer. So glad to be home and that shouldn't be the case. Attached is the picture of the bug. I have all the others if needed. Please advise of what will be done. Oh yeah and the pool was full of leaves. Looked dirty. I guess they figured nobody would swim due to the cold weather. Please advise.

Comfortable building and rooms featuring spacious king size beds. Recently revamped, this place is conveniently located just half a mile away from the airport ✈️.

The staff was outstanding, very friendly and accomidating.

Our room had a musty smell that even Fabreeze couldn't get rid of.

The food was great and I have fantastic memories from my trip here; the staff were excellent, and the hotel had a convenient location near restaurants.
